During the City Hall announcement of the $100M farm, our CEO asked for the City of Newark, Prudential, and others to help create the next Black-owned food brand combating nutrient deficiencies in our communities. In the quest to achieve the goal of building a Black led fresh food manufacturer and distributor, MPAC visited Durham, NC and Black Wall Street, on a tour of the Carolinas to develop a Black owned and crypto-backed hydroponic farm. After working in the same office as the $1.2B vertical indoor farming company Aerofarms, MPAC promised to help get justice for Black farmers and urban agriculture.
